
KELLEN GIBBS

Kellen Gibbs is an award-winning American film director, screenwriter, and producer. His most recent feature film, The Novel, a black-and-white neo-noir, won Best Picture at the 2025 North Hollywood CineFest and is currently on the festival circuit. His debut feature, Lost in Tomorrow, premiered at the CINEQUEST and was later distributed by Vision Films, streaming on Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and Tubi. Since making his breakout short film The Moment I Was Alone, which screened at the Carmel Film Festival, was selected for the SAG Short Film Showcase, and picked up by Legendary Digital’s Short Ends—Gibbs has earned over 65 award nominations for his screenwriting and direction.
Launching his production company Frame of Reference Entertainment speaks to Gibbs’ commitment to telling emotionally grounded, visually distinctive stories that challenge convention while remaining deeply human.
